James is a Principal in our Corporate Finance and Funds Management recruitment practice, with over 8 years of recruitment experience in Australia, specifically focussing on the financial services field.

James is trained in executive search/headhunting and market mapping and acts as a trusted consultant to a range of high profile financial services clients. He has developed a reputation for excellence having placed senior and junior positions with major investment banks, private equity and venture capital funds, alternative investors and ASX-listed industry clients. Cumulatively, James has completed over 125 recruitment assignments for financial services firms across Australia.

James plays a key role in delivering on the increasing demand for our services from a broad range of investment/commercial banks, corporates and alternative asset managers.

Away from the office, James has always been an active athlete, having played Ice Hockey in New Zealand’s national league and Cricket, Tennis and Golf to a high amateur level. 

James has a Bachelor of Commerce, Management and Finance from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.
